Abu Dhabi: Asian man arrested for harassing four children

Abu Dhabi Court of Appeal postponed a case of an Asian man accused of sexually harassing four children of Asian and European nationalities to a hearing on September 24th.

The suspect, who works as a guard at a residential compound, harassed the four children who were living with their families in the same residential compound. Parents noticed some strange behavior from their children and when asked about it, the children told their parents that the guard had touched them inappropriately.

The parents of the children immediately informed concerned authorities, after which the accused was arrested and referred to the court of first instance, which in turn sentenced the accused to five years’ imprisonment with deportation from the country.
