Two dead, Five injured in Dubai traffic accident

Dubai Police reported the tragic death of a woman and a man, and the injuries of other five including four women in a traffic accident on Sheikh Rashid Road before the Garhoud tunnel.

Brigadier Ali Ghanim, director of Al Muraqabat Police Station, stated that a report of the accident was receieved at around 9:42 AM. The van, carrying the all 7 passengers swerved off the road after one of its tires exploded, and crashed into a road barrier and a lamp post. The injured were all transferred to Rashid Hospital.

Brigadier Ghanim urged all drivers to follow traffic rules and maintain their cars, especially checking the tires as they can be the reason behind serious accidents.
