ADP arrests an Asian drug dealer in “The poisoned scissors” operation

In an operation titled ‘The poisoned scissors’‬.. Abu Dhabi Police arrested an Asian tailor who was used his career to cover up for trading with 6 kg of Crystal Meth.

The suspect used to provide drug addicts with the drug and endanger their lives. The operation was called the “poisoned scissors” since Crystal meth has dangerous health risks such as fatal heart attacks.

Colonel Taher Gharib Al Dhahiri, director of Drug Control directorate in Abu Dhabi Police, stated that the details of the incident go back to when a report was received by the Directorate indicating that the man possessed a quantity of narcotic substances with the intention of dealing. A security plan was immediately put in place to investigate and monitor the suspect, and he was arrested by the police.

The tailor admitted during interrogation that the crystal drug seized in his possession was in fact for the purpose of dealing to increase his income.

Colonel Al Dhahiri confirmed that Abu Dhabi Police is capable of seizing drug dealers regardless of the criminals’ continuous attempt at creating unexpected schemes.
