During the media briefing on the Tropical cyclone “Shaheen”, Dr. Taher Al-Amiri, the spokesman for “NCEMA”:

• Praise to Allah, we confirm the end of the tropical situation “Shaheen” while we affirm the readiness of all national and local teams to address its impacts and ensure the safety and stability of the society.

• We commend the efforts of all stakeholders in the national system for emergency, crisis and disaster management and all the teams for all the proactive measures that have been taken.

• The previous days revealed the extent of societal awareness of the precautionary measures for this type of risk and the significant contribution to spreading awareness messages and supporting national efforts.

• We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the various sectors of the UAE community for their response and cooperation with all instructions issued by the concerned authorities, which aim to ensure their health and safety.
