Abu Dhabi: Gang arrested for forging documents to seize 700,000 Dhs.

The Abu Dhabi Court of Appeal postponed a case involving six Asian nationals accused of participating in forging salary certificates and bank statements to get a loan from a bank operating in the country, taking advantage of the mistake of a bank employee “sixth defendant” to seize 702 Thousand Dhs.

One of the defendants, who worked in a hotel forged a salary certificate in cooperation with the fourth defendant, who prepared all the documents and presented them to the sixth, enabling the first to seize 250,000 Dhs. and the second to sieze 452,000 Dhs.

The Abu Dhabi Criminal Court sentenced the defendants to seven years’ imprisonment and fined them for the offense.
