RAK: The rescue of 9 mountain climbers in Al Sheha

Ras Al Khaimah Police with the help of some residents managed to rescue 9 people of different nationalities who were stranded in “Al Sheha” area within two weeks.

As two reports were received, one of them was last week of 4 trapped people and the new report two days ago of 5 trapped people during two mountain trekkings in the area.

Ras Al Khaimah Police dispatched a chopper to airlift the injured as ambulance access to the site was impossible.
