AED 1000 fine for causing an accident due to sudden swerving

Abu Dhabi Police: causing an accident due to sudden swerving attracts a fine of AED 1000 plus 4 points. The amount paid to release the impounded vehicle is AED 5000.

A vehicle remains impounded until fees are paid. It will be auctioned after a maximum of three months if it has not been claimed by the owner.
