Staying in UAE illegally? Here’s how you can adjust your situation

The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship launches an initiative titled ‘Protect yourself by changing your situation’ for illegal residents before August 1 in 9 centers from 8 am to 8 pm Sunday to Thursday.

The initiative includes:
– Exemption from fines and leave without ban and the possibility of returning with a new visa.

– A temporary residence without a sponsor for 6 months through the virtual labor market.

– Allow people who have been able to enter the country illegally to leave the country with two years ban.

– Allow the transfer of residence visa for those who want to change their status without fines and for minor fees.
