We will review the health status developments during the period between 7 and 13 October:
• 793,642 tests were conducted nationwide, which is a 9% increase compared to the previous week, these tests revealed an increase of 1% in confirmed cases.
• The rate of positive cases from the total number of tests remained at 1%, which is similar to the rate in the previous week, and thus considered the lowest compared to each of the European Union, which reached 7.3%, and 6.6 in the Middle East and North Africa.
• This week we witnessed a 15% increase in recoveries.
• The total number of fatalities this week was 13 cases, a 46% decrease from last week, bringing the death rate to 0.4%, which is one of the lowest rates in the world.
