MoHAP and NCEMA announce a protocol for organizing social events in light of the spread of COVID-19

MoHAP and NCEMA announce a protocol for organizing social events in light of the spread of COVID-19, with the aim of ensuring the highest standards of prevention:

• Attendance at a matrimony and other special events is restricted to first-degree relatives of the two families, provided that the total number of attendees should not exceed 10 people, without buffet. It is preferable that a COVID-19 test to be done 24 hours before the event.

• Attending funerals is limited to 10 people and the number of people responsible for digging is reduced to two. The number of pallbearers is reduced to be between 4-8 people while cemetry workers must adhere to wearing masks and to sterilize the tools used before and after the completion of the burial.
