Mohammed bin Rashid launches Dubai Future District

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, launched the “Dubai Future District” during the second meeting of the Dubai Council.

His Highness tweeted via his official account: “Today we held the second meeting of the Dubai Council, during which we launched “Dubai Future District” .. a new area for new economic companies..and we will launch a new securities for future economy companies..and an initial fund of one billion dirhams to support these companies .. and one window for licensing, funding and consulting .. Dubai will be the capital of the new economy in the region”.

His Highness added, “We also directed during the Dubai Council meeting that our goal for Dubai’s non-oil foreign trade is 2 trillion dirhams within five years … and we formed a team to develop a motivational, legislative and logistic plan and open new markets for our exports to achieve the goal of 2 trillion by 2025”.
