Two died, four injured due to a traffic accident

Dubai Police announced the death of two people and the injury of 4 others, in a collision accident between two vehicles occurred this morning.

In detail, Brigadier Saif Muheir Al Mazrouei, Director of the Traffic Department at Dubai Police said that at 5:30 am the accident took place between a pick-up vehicle and a truck on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road.

He explained that the accident occurred because of the stop of the truck in the second lane on the right side of the road after having a burst tire. The pickup collided the truck from the back side which led to the death of two people on the scene and injury of four others who had been transferred to the hospital for treatment.

He added, once the report was received, the inspection experts section from traffic accident management rushed to the scene to know the reason behind the accident, while the traffic patrols organized traffic movement and secured the accident site to facilitate the ambulance arrival.
