Two Gulf men on trial for assaulting a policeman

Fujairah Criminal Court looked into the case of two Gulf men who were accused of physically assaulting a policeman causing him injuries and attempting to steal money that belongs to a charity association.

In detail, the defendants were accused of stealing money from charity boxes which they broke and took the money. While the police was trying to arrest the defendants, they resisted and attacked one of the policemen and caused injuries to him, but police members were able to tighten control, arrest and transfer them to the Public Prosecution which convicted them on four charges.
