Korea’s exports surge 82.6% in first 10 days of September

The Republic of Korea’s exports jumped 82.6 percent year-on-year in the first 10 days of September, customs office data showed Friday.

Yonhap News Agency reported that data from the Korea Customs Service showed outbound shipments reached $34.97 billion during the 1-10 September period.

Imports also rose 20.7 percent year-on-year to $24.61 billion during the period, resulting in a trade surplus of $10.36 billion.
