Global Council for Tolerance and Peace offers condolences to Egypt on victims of church fire

Ahmed bin Mohamed Aljarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, President of the General Union of Arab Experts and Chairman of the Executive Office of the Arab Federations Forum of the League of Arab States, has expressed sincere condolences to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark’s Diocese, and to the Egyptian people, over the victims of a church fire in Giza Governorate.

Aljarwan said, “We received with great sadness and sorrow the news of the outbreak of a fire in the Abu Sefein Church, which resulted in 41 deaths and dozens of injuries.

In this great affliction, we can only pray to God Almighty to have mercy on the victims, inspire their families patience and solace, and grant a speedy recovery to all the injured.”
