Hamdan bin Zayed visits The national Aquarium to review Abu Dhabi’s efforts to rehabilitate marine life

Hamdan bin Zayed has visited The national Aquarim and reviewed efforts to rehabilitate marine life in Abu Dhabi through the wildlife rescue programme implemented by Environment Agency Abu Dhabi in collaboration with The national Aquarim.

During his visit, His Highness toured the Specialised Centre for the Rehabilitation of Turtles and Marine Biology, which provides veterinary care to sea turtles before releasing them back into their natural habitat.

HH also inaugurated the first-of-its-kind boat designed to save marine life in waters of Abu Dhabi and to enhance efficient response and monitoring of turtles in order to rehabilitate them.

HH praised the efforts of Environment Agency Abu Dhab and The national Aquarim to ensure the sustainability of sea turtles in UAE waters.
