Abu Dhabi Police arrest 3 Asians possessing 380 kilograms of hashish

In an operation called “Across the Borders” … Abu Dhabi Police arrest 3 Asians possessing 380 kilograms of hashish and 400,000 pills of narcotic drugs. The gang which was controlled from outside the country admitted the crime and were referred to the judicial authorities.

Brigadier General Muhammad Suhail Al Rashidi, Director of the Criminal Security Sector, praised the efforts of the anti-drug officers and their keenness to follow the accurate security measures so they managed to arrest the gang which was controlled from outside the country.

Colonel Taher Gharib Al Dhaheri, Director of the Anti-Narcotics Directorate in the Criminal Security Sector in Abu Dhabi Police, revealed that they had received confidential information about a gang that seeks to promote narcotic substances, and accordingly a security plan was developed to arrest them red-handed.

Abu Dhabi police managed to arrest the gang and seized drugs in their possession, then they admitted the crime and were referred to the judicial authorities.

He stressed Abu Dhabi Police’s great interest in combating drugs because of their negative effects on society.
