Dubai police arrest cars broker for fraudulent activities

Dubai Police arrest a man of an Arab nationality who claimed that he was of European nationality and works as a car broker for his involvement in fraudulent activities and misappropriation of money by selling vehicles to others above their market value.

He deceived his female clients emotionally and used to invite them to parties riding fancy cars claiming that he was a wealthy man.

Al Rashediya Police station have managed to arrest 3 other men who contributed to the fraud scheme in different roles including forging the car documents and its original market value and passing bank loan transactions.

Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander in Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs, urges the community members and those who are planning to purchase a car to verify the original market value and its documents to avoid falling prey to fraud.
