The launch of Hayyakum” initiative for children of front line healthcare workers

In implementation of the directives of Mohammed bin Zayed, and with the follow-up of Abdullah bin Zayed … the Ministry of Education, in partnership with the Nation’s Pride office “Fakhr Al Watan”, is launching “Hayyakum” initiative.

•The initiative represents a scholarship program in government schools, provided to the children of frontline heros in the health sector throughout the Emirates. Students will receive full scholarships, to study in government schools from the current academic year 2020-2021 until their completion of the high school.

• The grant will cover education fees, laptops, and school transportation fees from now until completion of high school.

• The number of “Hayyakum” beneficiaries has now reached 1,850 students nationwide, and the deadline for submitting applications for this academic year is scheduled to expire at the end of September.
