Sheikh Mohamed chaired today the first physical meeting of the cabinet

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has chaired the first physical meeting of the UAE Cabinet after the new government formation.

Taking to Twitter, Sheikh Mohammed said ” I have chaired today the first physical meeting of the cabinet at the Presidential Palace after several remote meetings. It is also the first meeting after the new government formation”.

“We reconstituted the cabinet for development headed by my brother Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, and the Federation’s General Budget Committee headed by my brother Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid. All the best for the two teams who will oversee many strategic federal portfolios”.

“We also stressed on the importance of the economic portfolio at the beginning of the meeting and have adopted 33 initiatives presented to us by the new minister, where a committee was formed lead by him to follow up on the implementation process. We have also approved the appointment of Ahmed Belhoul Al Falasi for the tourism revival portfolio in the country and Thani Al Zayoudi for retention and talents recruitment.”

“The cabinet will be operating this summer due to the exceptional circumstances, and our projects will continue. The new government season will begin from August instead of September, as our excellence and achievements depend on our active operations and relentless work. Distinction is obtained through sacrifices and hard work”, His Highness added.
