Planetarium: Muharram crescent will be born on Wednesday, August 19 at 6:42 AM, and will set about 34 minutes after sunset, hence the crescent moon sighting will be possible. Thursday 20 August shall mark the beginning of Muharram 1442 and the New Islamic Year, according to the astronomical calculation.
