A doctor was penalized AED 2000 for medical error

Abu Dhabi Court of Cassation upheld an appeal verdict that penalized a dentist AED 2000 for pulling off the victim’s lower and upper teeth which is medically unjustified during an orthodontic procedure.

The court rejected the defendant appeal and obliged her to pay the legal fees and seized the insurance amount as she is not specialist in orthodontic procedures.
