UAE to launch a national sterilization program

The Ministry of Health and Prevention and the Ministry of Interior in coordination with all relevant federal and local entities, have decided to launch a “national sterilization program” which aims to process full sanitizing procedure that includes all facilities, public transportation and metro service during the weekend, starting from 8 pm tomorrow, Thursday, March 26 and until 6 am Sunday, March 29. Throughout this period, traffic and public movement will be restricted, as well as public transportation and metro service will be suspended.
