Heavy rain over some parts of UAE .. Warnings of “reckless” driving

NCM: Most of the areas witnessed heavy rains in the early hours of Wednesday morning as a result of the country exposure to an extension of upper trough accompanied by an air depression in the upper atmosphere.

The center called for taking caution and stay away from the valleys and flooding water areas.

Abu Dhabi police urges motorists to drive safely, keep a safe distance to the vehicle in front, exercise caution and reduce speed to 80km/h during rains.

Dubai Airports also announced via its official account on “Twitter” stating: ” DXB is experiencing operational disruption due to heavy rains this morning. The safety & comfort of our passengers is a priority & we are working with partners to return to full operation ASAP.
