Video and images / As of today… Warning for Unstable weather and Poor visibility

According to the National Meteorological Center (NMC), as of today’s night, Low-pressure areas will deepen in the upper atmosphere associated with relatively cold air masses. Clouds flow from the west in the form of successive waves with convective clouds associated with moderate to heavy rainfall with thunder and lightning sometimes over different areas.

The rains begin in the western region, then the coasts of Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah, to include all areas of the country until Thursday.

The National Meteorological Center advised motorists to be cautious while driving especially with low horizontal visibility due to dust and called the public to avoid going to the sea because of unstable state in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Ras Al Khaimah Police also called on motorists to be cautious and leave safety space between vehicles in light of the unstable weather.

National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority urged the public to stay tuned to the weather forecast through the official local media and social media channels.
