New smart system to reduce speed limits in Abu Dhabi

The Traffic Safety Committee announces the introduction of a smart system to reduce speeds in Abu Dhabi to 80KM/Hour during unstable weather conditions, through smart tower radars on the roads of Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed “Abu Dhabi – Dubai” and Sheikh Khalifa Road “Saadiyat”.

There will be light speed signs to alert drivers about the speed reduction and the radar will be set on the new reduced speed.
