WATCH: Dubai Police helps an American tourist find her lost wallet

Dubai Police managed to find an American tourist’s wallet after she had lost it while touring several parts of the emirate.

Details reveal that the tourist, Diane Marie Erwin, informed the Police Department of losing of the wallet that contains important papers, credit cards and money. She expressed her concern in case the wallet wasn’t found because she does not have any other source to rely on and does not know anyone in the country since she’s visiting the UAE for the first time.

Police officers began searching after following her route but the wallet was not found, police officers then began to move to all the places that have returned she had visited, starting with a restaurant in Burj Khalifa and Um Suqeim Beach near the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, then the Palm Islands and other places where photographs were taken.

The police also checked the lost & found dept. of Bur Dubai police station but the wallet wasn’t there either. The wallet was only found after arriving at the Armani Hotel, and meeting with the security supervisor of the hotel who checked the hotel’s lost & found.

The woman thanked Dubai Police and expressed her appreciation for their efforts in helping her.
