The General Command of Dubai Police arrested four young men between the ages of 16 and 20 for involvement in assaulting another youngster.
One of whom documented the attack on his mobile phone and then posted the video that went viral on social media.
Dubai Police confirmed that the competent authorities arrested the four young men in less than 24 hours after they published the video of the abuse on social media, and referred them to the Public Prosecution to take all legal procedures against them.
Dubai Police called on parents to follow up with their children, especially those in their teenage years, and urged them to advise their children to deal with conflicts in their lives, without using force to solve them, and to respect the privacy of others and not to publish any videos or pictures of inappropriate behavior.
On the other hand, the policed also urges the public to report any negative acts that disturb the safety and security of the community and are contrary to our ethics, customs and traditions.
