Fujairah: Civil Defense saves two children trapped inside a car

The Civil defense of Fujairah managed to open a vehicle’s door in a market and rescue two children after they were locked inside, the children were in good health.

The Department of Civil Defense explained that a report was sent to the operating room at 11 pm yesterday, stating that two children were trapped inside a vehicle in one of the markets in the Emirate of Fujairah. They immediately transferred a rescue team to the site, and started using the tools necessary to open the vehicle. The two children were handed over to the National Service and then to their parents.

The Civil Defense Department appealed to parents and drivers not to leave their young children in the car for any reason, because the child can tamper with the car and the engine or air conditioner, which can lead to suffocation at high temperatures.
