According to the new law, the following categories have the right to own properties in the emirate of Abu Dhabi:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Emiratis and public shareholding companies in which the share of non-Emiratis does not exceed 49%, or those who receive a decision issued by the Crown Prince or the President of the Executive Council.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Non-Emiratis and companies owned by expats are allowed to own and acquire all the rights on properties located within their investment areas and to make any action with such properties.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has issued a law amending certain provisions of the Real Estate Law in Abu Dhabi.
