Dayne \u201cDa Hawaiian Hitman\u201d Viernes defeated Vasilii \u201cDumpling\u201d Kamotskii by unanimous decision to retain the Super Heavyweight Title as POWER SLAP 25: DA HAWAIIAN HITMAN VS. DUMPLING, presented by Monster Energy, thrilled a sold-out crowd at Space42 Arena in Abu Dhabi on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a highly anticipated rematch, Viernes and Kamotskii went the full five rounds before the judges scored the contest 48-44, 47-45 and 47-45 in favour of the defending champion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The result saw Viernes retain his title against Kamotskii following the pair\u2019s first meeting at Power Slap 13 in June 2025, when Viernes claimed the Super Heavyweight Title by majority decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the contest, Viernes paid tribute to his opponent, describing Kamotskii as the toughest competitor he has faced and admitting he was surprised by the challenger\u2019s power. Looking ahead, the champion also welcomed the possibility of completing the trilogy between the pair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Frank Lamicella, CEO of Power Slap, hailed another successful night in the UAE capital following a record crowd and early sellout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis was our biggest crowd here, our earliest sellout,\u201d Lamicella said. \u201cWe certainly will be back next year.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the co-main event, No. 1-ranked and former title challenger Dakota \u201cThe Maritime Menace\u201d McGregor delivered one of the night\u2019s standout moments, defeating No. 3-ranked Reiley \u201cSlap Shady\u201d Montoya by knockout in the second round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lamicella praised McGregor\u2019s performance, describing the finish as \u201cas clean as a knockout that you can have\u201d and adding that \u201cbig things are ahead for Dakota.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Elsewhere on the card, Louis \u201cRazor\u201d Robinson defeated India\u2019s Jujhar \u201cTiger\u201d Singh by disqualification in the second round of their heavyweight contest, while Peter \u201cThe Aligator All G\u201d Truchlik scored a second-round knockout victory over Merlin \u201cAction\u201d Muusikus in their middleweight matchup.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
