This came after the girl had submitted a\nheartfelt request to the General Department of Punitive and Correctional\nEstablishments, seeking their assistance to fulfil her sincere wish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With unwavering determination and under the\ndirectives of Expert His Excellency Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri,\nthe Assistant Commander-in-Chief of Criminal Investigation Affairs at Dubai\nPolice, the Department worked tirelessly to ensure her heartfelt wish was\nfulfilled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In her appeal, the young girl had\nexpressed that an Arab gentleman had presented a marriage proposal, expressing\nhis sincere desire to join their lives together in matrimony. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
With hope, she emphasised the importance\nof her father’s consent, an inmate in the Dubai Punitive and Correctional\nEstablishments. She underscored the importance of his presence during this\nmomentous occasion, as it holds immense significance in her life and carries\ndeep meaning for her entire family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Brigadier Marwan Jalfar, Director of the\nGeneral Department of Punitive and Correctional Establishments, confirmed that\nthe Department had received the young girl’s request and carefully evaluated\nthe financial and emotional circumstances surrounding her father’s presence\nduring the preparations for her marriage, considering his role as the family’s\nprimary breadwinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a compassionate response, aligned\nwith the directives of His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al\nMarri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, the Department immediately approved\nher request, reflecting their dedication to humanitarian initiatives and the\nprofound impact they have on spreading happiness throughout society. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Comprehensive Support & Home\nPreparation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Brig. Jalfar highlighted that the\nGeneral Department of Punitive and Correctional Establishments has launched the\n‘Bring Joy to the Inmate’s Daughter’ initiative to ensure the bride’s happiness\nand provide comprehensive support beyond arranging the wedding venue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n “The Department expanded the\nsupport to encompass assistance in preparing and furnishing her new home,\naiming to create a harmonious and joyful marital environment for the couple\nwhile also acknowledging its positive influence on her father,” he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Brig. Jalfar thanked Sheikh Ahmed\nAl-Shihi, an authorised Islamic marriage official (Mazoon), for graciously\naccepting the request of the Punitive and Correctional Establishments to attend\nand officiate the marriage ceremony.
