The Ministry of Human Resources\nand Emiratisation (MoHRE) and the Ministry of Finance (MoF) said companies\ncommitted to meeting annual Emiratisation targets of 2% growth will now get a priority\nin tendering for government procurement contracts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new initiative reflects the notable\ncommitment to ensure the success of Emiratisation policies in the private\nsector. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new benefit for companies\ncommitted to Emiratisation targets complements the others benefits, which\ninclude enlisting them in the Emiratisation Partners Club, the benefits of\nNafis to companies and individuals, such as the financial support, provision of\na database of UAE nationals qualified to work in the private sector and the\nPension Programme that provides pension contribution support, among other\nbenefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His Excellency Younis\nAl Khoori, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance (MoF), said: \u201cThe Ministry\nof Finance is working to meet all the necessary requirements to advance the Emiratisation\nprocess, ensure the active participation of UAE nationals in the labour market,\nand increase their contribution to the national economy, in line with our\ncommitment to implementing the UAE leadership\u2019s vision and our own strategy at\nthe Ministry. We firmly believe in the positive role Emiratisation plays in\nstrengthening and developing the national economy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added: \u201cGranting\npriority to companies committed to achieving Emiratisation targets in the\ngovernment procurement system is a form of support and an incentive for them, in\nrecognition of their alignment with national strategic directions. To that end,\nenhancing these companies\u2019 business activities will undoubtedly lead to\nincreased contributions on their part towards supporting government and\nnational goals across various sectors.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For her part, Her\nExcellency Ayesha Belharfia, Undersecretary for Emiratisation Affairs at MoHRE,\nsaid: \u201cThe launch of this new benefit for companies committed to Emiratisation\ntargets reflects the shared vision and responsibility among government entities\nto support the Emiratisation process. The new initiative presents a strategic\nnational approach for sustaining growth and leadership, while achieving the UAE\u2019s\nambitious economic objectives.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Ministry strives\nto establish a collaborative and encouraging environment, raising awareness\namong companies about the Emiratisation process and its benefits, while\noffering them various benefits provided by the Ministry and its network of\ngovernment partners,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Ministry of\nFinance recently launched a digital procurement platform as part of its digital\ntransformation strategy, allowing suppliers in the UAE and abroad to register and\noffer services to federal government entities. Around 14,000 suppliers have\nregistered in the platform, which provides various services, allowing users to\nparticipate in tenders and online auctions, as well as track purchase orders\nand invoices. It also aims to enhance the participation of small and\nmedium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in tenders by offering them special advantages.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The MoF continues to upgrade\nsupplier services through internal and external strategic initiatives, in\ncollaboration with other federal entities, in order to enhance user experience\nand expand the supplier register database.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
