The UAE Ministry of Finance today announced the enablement of the UAE Pass\ndigital identity for all its services across systems, in line with the UAE\u2019s\nefforts to enhance digital quality of life. This step contributes to enhancing\nthe digitalization journey and eliminating paper transactions. The UAE Pass is the\nfirst national digital identity solution for nationals, residents, and\nvisitors, enabling users to identify themselves to local and federal\ngovernments\u2019 services and other service providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Ministry of Finance replaced the traditional login feature on its\nservices page, and exclusively adopted the UAE Pass login mechanism, starting\nfrom August 2023. Hence, the Ministry encourages its customers to register with\nthe digital identity to continue benefiting from its digital services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The digital identity solution was designed\nto meet the highest standards of security, confidentiality, and accuracy of\ninformation, in an effort to speed up processes and improve user experience via\nthe UAEPass smart phone application, available on the Apple Store and the\nGoogle Play Store. Once downloaded, users will be prompted to activate their\ndigital identity account by scanning their Emirates ID, verifying the data, setting\nthe PIN, and verifying the account through facial recognition. After having set\nup and activated the UAE Pass, users will be able to access services via the\nsmartphone app, without the need for usernames and passwords, sign documents\ndigitally, and verify data accuracy without having to visit service centers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The UAE Pass provides a secure login mechanism to various websites and\napplications for government and semi-government entities, as well as private companies\nacross the UAE. It gives users access to more than 6,000 services provided by\nmore than 130 organizations in the local and federal governments and the\nprivate sector.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
