Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, announced the launch of a new study programme at the University of Sharjah (UoS) named &#8220;Catch-up Programmes&#8221;, which provides Community College&#8217;s graduates with a GPA of 2.0 an opportunity to improve their GPA to 2.5 and join the University&#8217;s bridging programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a live telephone call during the &#8216;Direct Line&#8217; programme broadcast on Sharjah Radio and Television, a programme hosted by Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director-General of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, Sheikh Dr. Sultan said that, since the bridging programme at the University of Sharjah for Community College&#8217;s graduates only accepts graduates with a GPA of 2.5 out of 4, the University will launch a new programme dubbed as the &#8216;Catch-up Programmes&#8217; for graduates who have a GPA of 2.0, giving them the opportunity to raise their GPA to 2.5 by taking catch-up courses and be able to join the bridging programme.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>H.H.
