Students in London were obliged to return their vehicles to the UAE&#8221; .<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">Al Mazrouei said that &#8220;The police commissioner in the United Kingdom, considering the current circumstances and safety reasons, issued a decision not to use cars with UAE plates in order to avoid attracting undesirable attention&#8221; The students were told to return their cars to the UAE.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;The Embassy of the UAE gives top priority to protecting the safety of citizens visiting the UK and the students with scholarships&#8221; he added. &#8220;The UAE Embassy is continuously looking over the conditions of their students in terms of academic performance, public behavior, and safety, to be distinguished ambassadors of their country&#8221;.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">He pointed out that &#8220;The embassy continues, through the police attach\u00e9, to follow the case of the attack on student Abdullah Al Hosani&#8221;, adding that &#8220;London police took the necessary action against the attacker&#8221;.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<p>&#8220;The city of London is safe, but citizens, especially students, must be careful,&#8221; Al Mazrouei said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">The statement came as a response after the horrific assault on a UAE national last week by an Arab man,\u00a0who vandalised a number of vehicles that are registered with UAE and other GCC licensed plates.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<p>British media revealed that the aggressor faced charges of\u00a0\u00a0racially motivated\u00a0beating, causing injuries and possession of a second-degree narcotic.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">The accused, named Adnan Mousa (24 years old), was arrested last Saturday and was referred to the prosecution and presented to the Westminster Court with a list of the three charges.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UAE ambassador\u00a0to the UK, Sulaiman Al Mazroui\u00a0, told local press that &#8220;It was decided to ban the use of cars with the UAE&#8217;s license plates on any vehicle in the United Kingdom following the attack on cars with\u00a0GCC licensed plates.
