Dubai\u2019s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) intends to launch a promotional initiative to encourage public transport riders to use marine transport means. The initiative, which is in collaboration and the support of Al Habtoor City (member of Al Habtoor Group), aims to honour the most frequent marine transport commuters. The initiative will be launched this June and will continue for three months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We thank Al Habtoor Group for supporting this initiative to encourage commuters to use RTA\u2019s marine transport means namely the ferry, the water bus and the water taxi,” said Mohammed Abu Baker Al Hashimi, Director of Marine Transport, Public Transport Agency, RTA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“RTA will conduct weekly draws for the most frequent marine transport riders. Winners will be rewarded with admission tickets to La Perle at Al Habtoor City,” he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Marine transport means are part of RTA\u2019s core services. They are particularly appealing to tourists, as riders will savour the picturesque views and the iconic landmarks of the city during their journeys in Dubai, besides the smooth and enjoyable rides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
RTA\u2019s marine transport means had been designed by renowned boat manufacturers at top global standards.
