The Dubai Police General\nCommand has recently launched a campaign to raise public awareness on\nunlicensed massage centres that pose serious threats to whoever seeks their\nscheming and risky services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Launched in collaboration with\nDubai Police strategic partners, the campaign aims at combating illegal\nactivities and ensuring the safety and security of community members. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Brigadier Jamal Salem\nAl-Jallaf, Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigations,\nconfirmed that Dubai Police had intensified its efforts to raise public\nawareness of the centres’ harmful activities and track down locations and\noperators of these unlicensed businesses, as well as to arrest distributors of\nmassage cards on vehicles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Not only do such cards promote\nillegal businesses, but also contain indecent pictures that violate public\nmorals,” “We are putting an end to this uncivilized phenomenon that\ncauses hazards to motorists and pollutes our beautiful streets,” Brig. Al\nJallaf added. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Brig. Al Jallaf warned public\nmembers against dealing with the illicit massage centres, stressing that\nviolators face legal liability, not to mention the high possibility of falling\nvictims to extortionists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Dubai Police’s efforts over the last\nthree years have succeeded in disconnecting services of 3114 phone numbers\nfound on these cards, raiding 218 flats used as illegal business points, and\narresting 2025 violators, of which 1643 were charged for violating public\nmorals and 165 for printing and distributing massage cards,” Brig Al Jallaf\nadded. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The General Department of\nCriminal Investigations director reaffirmed that ensuring public safety is a\nshared responsibility between the Force and community members. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Dial 901 or use ‘Police Eye’ service\nvia Dubai Police smart App to report any suspicious, shady and illegal\nactivities including these unlicensed centres and their promotors,” he\nadded. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Brig. Al Jallaf further noted\nthat licensed massage centres are registered on Dubai Economic and Tourism, and\nwhoever wishes to seek their services are encouraged to call the department on\n800545555. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Brig Al Jallaf extended his\nappreciation to all partners for their collaboration with the law enforcement\noperations that ensure all properties that belonged to those illegal centres\nwere deprived of utilities to operate, and their owners were legally held\nresponsible for conducting unlicensed businesses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Dubai Police’s partners have played a\nmajor role in achieving the campaign’s objectives. They contributed to\ncombating the hazard of massage cards distributed in an uncivilized manner,\nraised the awareness of business owners on more proper ways of carrying\nadvertising and promotional campaigns, and aided the Force’s efforts in issuing\nfines against violating centres,” he added. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
