{"id":423,"date":"2018-03-28T16:06:02","date_gmt":"2018-03-28T12:06:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uaebarq.ae\/en\/?p=423"},"modified":"2018-03-28T16:06:02","modified_gmt":"2018-03-28T12:06:02","slug":"rak-couple-to-be-jailed-deported-for-exchanging-nude-photos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uaebarq.ae\/en\/2018\/03\/28\/rak-couple-to-be-jailed-deported-for-exchanging-nude-photos\/","title":{"rendered":"RAK: Couple to be jailed, deported for exchanging nude photos"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"ltr\">The Court of Criminal Appeal in the Ras Al Khaimah confirmed the ruling of a first instance court\u00a0yesterday, stating\u00a0that a 20-year-old man a 19-year-old woman, both of whom are nationals of an Asian country, get a\u00a0suspended three-month jail term and deportation, on charges of sending and exchanging their naked images, and having consensual sex out of wedlock.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<p>Records showed that the man had threatened to defame the woman and post her nude pictures on social media if she left him.<br \/>\nWhen alerted about the threat, the woman&#8217;s mother complained against him with the RAK Police.The man admitted to Rak police of trespassing her father&#8217;s house with her help, alleging that the woman was the one who started sending him her nude pictures and told him to do the same.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<p>The defendant told the court that he did have sex with the woman when she was still a minor with her consent on their first date. The woman admitted to all the charges against her.\u00a0The court found both defendants guilty and issued a suspended three-month imprisonment verdict against them.
