{"id":30760,"date":"2021-02-09T20:29:38","date_gmt":"2021-02-09T16:29:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uaebarq.ae\/en\/?p=30760"},"modified":"2021-02-09T20:33:07","modified_gmt":"2021-02-09T16:33:07","slug":"uae-announces-the-success-of-the-hope-mars-mission","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uaebarq.ae\/en\/2021\/02\/09\/uae-announces-the-success-of-the-hope-mars-mission\/","title":{"rendered":"UAE announces the success of the Hope Mars Mission"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The UAE Emirates Mars Mission (EMM), the first interplanetary mission undertaken by an Arab nation, made a major milestone for the mission as the Hope Probe reached its Mars Orbit Insertion, MOI, on Tuesday evening at 7:42 p.m. UAE local time, completing its 7-month journey to Mars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The arrival to the Red Planet also marks the 50th anniversary of the UAE\u2019s Union formation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EMM made the UAE the first Arab country and the fifth globally to reach the red planet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EMM, the country&#8217;s first mission to the Red Planet, is designed to \u200borbit Mars and study the dynamics in \u200bthe Martian atmosphere on a global scale, and on both diurnal and seasonal timescales.
