Dubai Police has recently announced the\naddition of the new Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S to its fleet of luxury patrol cars. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
HE Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al\nMarri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, said that Dubai Police Force has\nalways sought, through the introduction of its supercars fleet, to enhance\nsecurity presence in tourist destinations, such as the Burj Khalifa, Sheikh\nMohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, Jumeirah Beach Residence and La Mer, while\nupgrading the police’s systems at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the announcement, HE Al Marri was\nbriefed about the car features which is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8\nmaking 639 horsepower and a maximum torque of 900 Nm. All that throbbing energy\nis routed through a nine-speed automatic and the AMG-tuned 4Matic\nall-wheel-drive system. It accelerates <\/p>\n\n\n\n
from 0 to 100 km\/h in 3.2 seconds, and\nclaims a top speed of 315 km\/h.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, the Director of Tourist\nPolice Department at the General Dept. of Criminal Investigations, Lt Col Dr.\nMubarak Saeed Salem Bin Nawwas Al Kitbi, said that Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S is a\nqualitative addition to the luxury patrols in the department, pointing out that the new\nsports coupe would be stationed in different tourist spots and landmark areas\nacross the emirate, going around to serve the public and provide them with\nnecessary police information and advice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
