He took advantage of the powers granted to him and he demanded a bribe of AED 15,000 through an Arab mediator in order to speed up the building inspection procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The prosecution convicted the first defendant for forging an electronic document and issuing &#8220;Injaz&#8221; certificate, the second defendant was convicted for facilitating and accepting a bribe of AED 20,000, while the third defendant was convicted for granting AED  35,000 as a bribe in favor of the first and second defendants.
